The Forest of Dreams is an artwork by the late Anton Hart commissioned and installed by the City of Adelaide in 2003. The public art installation consists of steel words and granite clad public seating with elements on the four corners of the Hurtle square intersection of Pultney and Halifax streets in Adelaide. The granite clad seating elements of the artwork are a vital part of the artworks concept and aesthetic with the artist well known for his use of grey and strong, geometric built forms. The City of Adelaide have been working with representatives of Anton Hart’s estate to devise a suitable methodology for the repair of these artwork components and are now seeking a suitably qualified contractor to complete the works.
