Bendigo LED Project - Supply

The purpose of this project is to provide the Bendigo Harness Racing Club with a new and updated track lighting system based on LED technology.The original track lighting system was installed in the 1970’s with a subsequent enhancement in 2005. The lighting is based on high intensity discharge (HID) metal halide floodlights mounted on masts varying from 10m to 20m.This tender is for the supply only of new LED floodlights and another tender will be issued for the new electrical installations.The new floodlights, masts and electrical services will be installed and connected to the existing electrical power supply at the site by others.The extent of work to be carried out under this tender comprises the following:1 A thorough reading of all documentation provided in this tender.2 Design and presentation of a lighting solution, to be submitted with the tender, based upon the design criteria and performance specification contained herein and upon the tenderer’s appraisal of the task.3 Supply and delivery to site of floodlighting luminaires satisfying the tendered lighting solution, control gear (to cubicle manufacturer’s premises), mounting brackets (if required) and glare and spill control louvre assemblies (if required).4 The provision of layout drawings, luminaire schedules, computer plots, shop drawings, and aiming diagrams detailing the requirements for the installation works.5 Aiming, testing, commissioning and recording of illuminance levels.6 Maintenance of the floodlights and associated equipment for a period of 24 months.6 Maintenance of the floodlights and associated equipment for a period of 24 months.
