The Successful Tenderer for the Provision of the Australia-Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program (AIMEP) will be required to develop and deliver the annual hybrid online/in-person AIMEP over two years in 2026 and 2027, in consultation with the AII Secretariat. This includes the full breadth of program delivery, namely program design for each annual program; program communications plan, including social media promotion; participant selection; alumni engagement; program management including all travel arrangements and direct program costs; and program reporting.
Each annual Australia-Indonesia Muslim exchange program will involve a minimum of 12 Indonesian and 7 Australian participants. The program includes a minimum five-week online program each year, incorporating facilitated interreligious and intercultural dialogue, and minimum 10-day visit programs in Australia and Indonesia (to visit two cities in each country), including (but not limited to): visits, meetings, and facilitated dialogue with prominent individuals and organisations , visits to sites of cultural, religious and historic importance, a full cohort gathering at the beginning of the Indonesian program and the end of the Australian program, and networking events including with alumni.
The Tenderer is required to demonstrate organisational strength, relevant experience, and robust risk and compliance practices. The Tenderer must also outline their strategic and practical approach to implement and maintain high quality international exchange program design and delivery services, as specified in the Scope of Requirement, and specify the qualifications, experience, and availability of nominated personnel, including demonstrated understanding of Indonesian culture and Bahasa Indonesia language capability.
