QED 5725 Holland Park SS - Disability Access - Stage 2 (with design responsibility / Eligible PQC 2)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Disability Access - Stage 2 project at Holland Park SS, located at 59 Abbotsleigh St, Holland Park QLD 4121, as part of the Ed4All program.
The works include the design and construction of new disability ramps to various zones on the school site in addition to a car park and a new elevator lift including lift shaft. All works are to be completed by June 2026.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M
• Minimum Level 2 PQC eligibility
Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Medium Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
