2027,2028, 2029 General Valuation - Central Goldfields Shire Council
The Valuation of Land Act 1960 (Vic) (the Act) requires a general valuation of rateable land and non-rateable leviable land to be made annually. As a valuation authority, the Valuer-General must cause a general valuation to be made as at 1 January annually and returned before 30 April that year.This document is provided by Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) to procure valuation services for the completion of the 2027, 2028 general valuations. The municipality for which these valuation services are being procured is stated in Attachment 1. The attachment/schedule details requirements specific to the municipality and is to be read in conjunction with this Request for Tender (RFT).The Valuer-General is required under section 5AA of the Act to prepare the Valuation Best Practice Specifications Guidelines (VBPSG) at the commencement of the annual valuation. VBPSG provides a template specification for this contract. It specifies the processes, tasks and outputs required for the return of valuation that meets all qualitative and legislative standards approved by the Valuer-General. The VBPSG is to be used in conjunction with these tender Specifications.
