ESTL0400PH3 - AFVFP Stage 3 - Request for Tender - Design Services Contract

The scope of the Project will include development of 30% Concept Design through to 100% Issue for Construction design for the scope elements as set out below and, subject to the terms of the contract between the design services consultant and the Commonwealth, design-related services in relation to the construction of the works.
(a) Lavarack Barracks 
(i) New vehicle maintenance workshops. 
(ii) New repair parts stores.
(iii) New large parts store. 
(iv) New quartermaster store
(v) New Armoury
(vi) New Secure Store
(vii) Reuse of existing lithium-ion battery store. 
(viii) New dangerous goods stores.
(ix) Adaptive reuse of existing vehicles shelters. 
(x) New vehicle shelters 
(xi) New squadron headquarters working accommodation. 
(xii) New Reconfigurable Driver Simulator hall. 
(xiii) Adaptive reuse works within existing Armoured Vehicles Simulation Facility. 
(xiv) New living in accommodation.
(xv) New driver training area including driver training obstacles, bridging obstacles and ploughing lane. 
(xvi) New hardstand and services infrastructure to support new facilities.
(b) Townsville Field Training Area 
(i) New Multi-User Live Fire Range including:
A. firing point; 
B. manoeuvre box;
C. stabilisation track; and 
D. maintenance hardstand.
E. New control tower.
(ii) All weather assembly area.
(iii) New fuel transfer point. 
(iv) New ammunition transfer point.
(v) Covered waiting area and first aid shelter.
(vi) Ablutions (permanent + cleared area for Portaloo’s). 
(vii) Hardstand for temporary maintenance tent. 
(viii) New driver training area including driver training obstacles, bridging obstacles and ploughing lane (alternate siting option). 
(c) Gallipoli Barracks 
(i) Adaptive reuse of existing facilities to support Simulation training including, Desktop Tactical Trainers, Immersive Tactical Trainer facilities.
