GGS0060 Temporary and Contracted Workers Preferred Supplier Panel - Refresh

Queensland Government Procurement (General Goods & Services) manage the GGS0060 Temporary and Contracted Workers Preferred Supplier Panel (established May 2020) which is for suppliers who provide workers through a labour hire arrangement.

As per the conditions of the original Invitation to Offer, the panel is being refreshed. If your business provides temporary and contracted workers, this is your opportunity to supply to the Queensland Government.

Note: Suppliers currently awarded to the Temporary and Contracted Worker Preferred Supplier Panel (PSP) GGS0060 are not required to reapply.

The panel will provide ongoing opportunities for suppliers to engage with Queensland Government however, while appointment to arrangements provides opportunities for suppliers to be considered for work with Queensland government departments and eligible customers, it does not provide aguarantee of work.

Who can apply?

You can apply to be a supplier within the Temporary and Contracted Worker Preferred Supplier Panel if you provide workers:

through a supplier arrangement
for a pre-defined period of time
where line management and direction of the worker is provided by the customer
at an agreed rate
who are employed by your organisation and payment to the worker is your responsibility
who are covered by your organisation’s insurance policies.

You must demonstrate an ongoing ability to effectively supply temporary and contracted workers by complying with mandatory criteria. In addition, you must accept and adhere to the relevant legislation, policies and terms and conditions.

A Supplier Information Guide has been developed and promoted in place of face to face briefing session. The guide provides information relating to the requirements of the application process. Face to face briefing sessions will not be conducted for this tender.
