A great winning tender for major provider of outsourced business services. Our client provides critical outsourced services to many companies, including major telecommunications providers.
As the incumbent provider to a major telco, our client needed to win a tender to resecure their existing contract and keep their market share.
They came to us for external tender writing assistance and to develop winning tender strategies.
Although they had a very competent business development and tendering team who knew how to write bids, they were looking for external assistance to:

- Help develop a compelling bid strategy

Our client’s bid team was located across Australia and they also have several international offices. Our role required us to coordinate stakeholders and the tender response across all locations.
Initially, we facilitated a tender strategy workshop, where we examined their service offering and how that could stand out from their competitors.
Our bid consultants and tender writers then worked for the whole tender period to help write the tender response and to enact the tender strategy. Within the submission we also helped our client develop an alternative proposal that offered the telco even greater value for money and improved service levels.
The tender was successful and our client retained their share of the work. Importantly the work they secured was more profitable than their previous contract giving them an improved commercial outcome from the tender process.
