A growing regional business asked Bidsmith’s tender team to help with their tender response for an important local government tender. The tender was for a place on a panel to supply equipment and machinery to the council for several years. Our client had some experience with bid writing, but wanted to use professional tender writers to maximise their chance of success.

Our tender consulting team brought the experience of lots of very similar bids and proposals for local, state and federal government requirements. In particular, our knowledge of construction tenders was useful as the tendered equipment would be used for Council construction projects.

We began the bid writing process by reviewing the request for proposal document to work out what was required to write a winning tender submission. Our lead bid writer analysed the selection criteria and developed a bid plan to write a successful tender. We then worked with our client to develop content to meet all the evaluation criteria and to showcase the value of their products and services.

The council found the bid response to be compelling and, indeed, a winning bid. This is a credit to our bid manager and the broader team who helped write the tender document itself.

If you need help with tenders and proposals, or expressions of interest our tender consultants are ready to start immediately.
