Provision of Occupational Vaccination Program

The Department of Justice (DOJ) supports the Western Australian community, Government, judiciary and Parliament through the provision of access to high-quality justice, legal and corrective services, information and products.

In delivering these services, certain occupational groups may be exposed to blood or other body substances and are therefore at increased risk of contracting vaccine-preventable diseases. To manage this risk and meet its workplace health and safety obligations, the Department requires a state-wide Occupational Vaccination Program to provide immunisation services to eligible employees.

The Occupational Vaccination Program is required on an ongoing basis to support newly engaged employees, changes in employee roles or risk profiles, completion of vaccination schedules, maintenance of immunity where required, and responses to identified disease outbreaks or other public health risks.

The Department of Justice reserves the right to award the Contract to:

• A single Contractor to provide services across all custodial sites; or
• Multiple Contractors, each appointed to provide services at one or more custodial sites.
