A port services business on one of Australia’s island territories needed help to respond to a tender. This was an important government tender from the Department of Transport which they wanted to win to prevent rivals from entering their market.
The scope of the project included supporting cruise ships when they visited the port. The provider needed to develop a tender response that showed they understood the government requirements. The requirement also included supporting the local tourism industry.
Our client had little previous tendering experience and needed help with the tender. We worked with them to help them understand the tender documents. Through several phone calls, we helped them develop a tender strategy. We then helped to write the tender, using lots of their local knowledge and our tendering experience.
We also helped develop the commercial strategy. Our client then used our tender writing service to help them develop all parts of the tender. We examined the tender request and all of the selection criteria to help develop the complete bid and tender strategy.
This project is one of many marine transport tenders we have helped our clients win.
Our client was very excited to win this tender as it will help them to grow their business, expand their facilities and purchase new equipment.
