Supply of Railway Track Materials

Scope:This Scope of Work applies to the design, manufacture, supply, documentation, testing evidence,packaging, delivery and support of rail fastenings and associated Goods identified in theContract material list, as amended from time to time in accordance with the Contract, includingany ‘Other Goods’ added under the relevant special condition.Rail fastenings must be adequately designed for all sleeper types used by Queensland Rail,including low profile concrete sleepers, full depth concrete sleepers, turnout concrete bearers,timber sleepers and timber or composite transoms.This Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, rail foot insulators, rail pads, resilient clips,base plate assemblies, screw spikes, associated components, accessories, consumables andreplacement items required to provide a complete and fit-for-purpose rail fastening system.Conformance with this Scope of Work does not constitute product approval. Any new, modifiedor alternative fastening product, manufacturing process or design may be required to undergoQueensland Rail’s type approval process and must not be supplied for operational use unlessapproved by Queensland Rail. Type approval, where required, will be undertaken at QueenslandRail’s discretion in accordance with Specification MD-16-448.
