The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is seeking a suitable venue provider to hold and manage the annual Western Australia Fire and Emergency Services (WAFES) Conference (the Conference) and Awards dinner (the Awards).
The Conference brings together approximately 700 delegates, including volunteers from the Bush Fire Service, State Emergency Service, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Marine Rescue Service, Fire and Emergency Services and DFES personnel.
The two (2) day program consists of a variety of operational tours, workshops, a welcome sundowner and a conference program with multiple integrated education streams that highlight the latest issues and trends affecting emergency management.
The Conference culminates with the Awards dinner attended by an additional 100 invited guests.
