Wheelset Overhauls

Queensland Rail is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide wheelset overhaul services to support the ongoing maintenance, safety, reliability and performance of its rollingstock fleet.The scope of services includes the inspection, overhaul, repair, testing and certification of wheelsets in accordance with Queensland Rail's technical, operational and quality requirements. The successful supplier will be expected to deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective services while maintaining high standards of workmanship and supporting fleet availability objectives.The contract is anticipated to commence following completion of the procurement process and contract award, with services to be provided over the term of the resulting agreement. Detailed requirements, volumes and service expectations are outlined within the Request documentation.Services will primarily support Queensland Rail operations within Queensland.
