RFT 26-07 Weed control services Greater Melbourne Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) invites Tenderers to submit a fixed lump sum price tender, in accordance with the Tender Documents contained within this Invitation for Tender for Weed Control Services.The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) is seeking to establish a contract with a suitably skilled and experienced contractor (Contractor) for the provision of Weed Control Services (Services) for 18 sites located in the Melbourne Metro area with 1 future site coming online in 2027 in the western region.The contract term will be for a three-year period, with the option of two (2) one-year extensions (Contract Term), with each option executed at the discretion of the GMCT.For the duration of the term the supplier’s key responsibilities will be to: · Minimise the visual impact that weeds have on the amenity of GMCT’s sites · Ensure weed control across the GMCT sites is managed sustainably · Control invasive weeds in a safe manner in environmentally sensitive areas · Ensure the GMCT is providing well cared for and maintained landscapes for the community, preventing damage to infrastructure, which may occur if not adequately managed.
