EST10003 RAAF Base Tindal Renewable Energy Microgrid – Design Services

The Consultant is responsible for the design for a new solar photovoltaic (PV) system that will form part of a broader renewable energy microgrid for the Base. The design includes documenting all engineering activities needed to define the system concept and preliminary integration requirements— covering investigations, analysis, and early-stage engineering for system configuration, layout, electrical and civil interfaces, and the control architecture. 
 
The design forms part of a broader project. The full scope includes the procurement, supply, transport, installation, commissioning, testing, and operational proving of all major components, including the solar PV array, inverter station, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), microgrid controller, high-voltage underground network, protection and earthing systems, communications, civil works, meterological stations, security systems, and temporary facilities. The Consultant must ensure the Design forms a coordinated and coherent foundation to progress into procurement and full system delivery.
