Transport for NSW(TfNSW) Opal Next Generation Program Open Request for Proposal for Account Based Ticketing & Fare Payment Solution Package (ABT Solution) and Bus Solution Package - WS4251144879

TfNSW seeks Proposals from suitable Respondents who can meet the Conditions of Participation in relation to the following Opal Next Generation Program packages:
(a)    the Account-Based Ticketing Solution (ABT Solution) package; and
(b)    the Bus Solution package.
collectively the ‘Sub-System Core Packages’
The scope of the RFP includes but not limited to:
ABT Solution: delivery and support of a new account-based ticketing back office to enable account-based fare calculation and payment, fare media account management, barcode ticket sales and usage, financial management and support for customer service channels. Supply, installation, integration, monitoring, management and maintenance of validators and upgraded gates (excludes installation of bus validators installed under the Bus Solution); and
Bus Solution: delivery and support of an end-to-end Bus Solution for the estimated 5,000 plus bus fleet, comprising a new back-office which will improve on current driver management and vehicle tracking capabilities and introduces new features to enable real time bus tracking and prediction, schedule and headway adherence, driver messaging, passenger counting and passenger information displays. Supply, installation, integration, monitoring, management and maintenance of the on-bus equipment including driver console, bus computer, mobile communications system, AVL, passenger counters and passenger information displays. Also included is the installation of validators which will be separately supplied, monitored, and managed under the ABT
 Note:
• Previously titled Systems Integration Partner (SI Partner) in the Market Sounding conducted Dec’22-Mar’23 has now been renamed Integration Assurance Services (IAS).
• A separate Request for Proposal (RFP)for IAS may be published within the next three months.
• There is no restriction on Respondents to participate in any of the ONG Tenders but there are Exclusivity requirements for IAS, where the successful IAS respondent cannot be awarded any other contract within the ONG delivery Program.
