Arboriculture Works and Services 2024-2027

Adelaide Hills Council (the Council) invites Tenders for the provision of Arboriculture Works Programmed South, Urgent North / South, and Vegetation Processing (the Works and Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for the Works and Services with the successful Tenderer to implement prescribed works within allocated areas throughout Council’s jurisdiction. Arboriculture Works and Vegetation Processing Services are conducted as part of the Council’s vegetation management programs, in line with Council’s Tree Management Policy. The works are conducted to trees and vegetation within Council managed reserves, road verges and public spaces.

Required Works and Services are first identified by suitably qualified Council officers in response to resident/stakeholder customer requests or resulting from programmed inspections. Arboriculture Works are undertaken for a variety of reasons, these reasons include but are not limited to; managing the associated risk to public and or property, to provide vehicle and pedestrian clearance envelopes, to maintain required sightlines. Works may also be necessary to enhance aesthetic appearance or to manage the overall health of a tree and or the environment. Arboriculture Works are required consistently throughout the year and will involve but not be limited to tree pruning via EWP and climbing methods, confined space tree removals and mechanically assisted tree removals. Vegetation processing via truck / chippers and vegetation transport.
