Design and Construct Mooloolaba Foreshore Project - Stage 1B

Mooloolaba Foreshore Project is a multi-stage upgrade project to be constructed over a minimum 5 year period.

Stage 1B is for the design and construction of the Northern Parkland and includes a new public park space with amenities. The site encompasses the temporary Mooloolaba Beach carpark at the northern end of the Mooloolaba Foreshore.

Design drawings and documentation have been completed up to Final Design standard.

The design portion of this Design and Construct contract will require the successful Respondent to progress from final design to 'For Construction' documentation including all necessary approvals and RPEQ certification. Sunshine Coast Council will be responsible for acquiring any necessary Statutory (planning) Approvals.

This is a lump sum Design and Construct contract.

Works will include, but not be limited to;

Site investigations
Final Design review and approval
For Construction documentation
Obtaining permits and approvals. Sunshine Coast Council will be responsible for acquiring any necessary Statutory (planning) Approvals
Construction works
Full commissioning and provision of handover documentation including ADAC in accordance with relevant specifications

The key contract milestones for this project are as follows;

Final Design documentation review
For Construction Design finalised
Construction commencement
Project completion

Respondents must provide a Gantt chart demonstrating how these milestones can be achieved to meet the proposed Practical Completion Date of 30 July 2021 and where, if appropriate, expedited.
