When enterprise bid teams use Bidsmith
Major pursuits place different demands on an organisation.
Sometimes the internal team has the capability but not the capacity.
Sometimes a strategically important opportunity benefits from an independent perspective.
Sometimes the pursuit involves procurement requirements, sectors or evaluation environments where specialist experience will strengthen the team.
And sometimes senior management wants greater confidence that a critical submission will withstand evaluator scrutiny.
Enterprise clients commonly engage Bidsmith when:
- a strategically important opportunity needs additional senior attention
- the internal bid team is managing competing priorities
- executives want an independent view of the bid strategy
- a pursuit would benefit from former tender evaluator insight
- the organisation needs specialist Commonwealth, Defence or government procurement experience
- a bid requires additional experienced writers, coordinators or reviewers for a defined period
- a complex submission involves multiple contributors, business units or technical disciplines
- the organisation wants an independent Red Team or Blue Team review
- a specific schedule, methodology or workstream needs specialist support
- the pursuit needs experienced facilitation to draw out strategy, evidence and differentiators
- the organisation wants support before the tender is formally released.
The engagement is shaped around the pursuit.
We plug into your bid environment
Our enterprise approach does not start with asking your organisation to adopt the Bidsmith process.
We start by understanding how your organisation works.
Large corporations already have bid methodologies, governance structures, approval gates, templates, systems and reporting requirements. We work within them.
Depending on the pursuit, Bidsmith may contribute one senior strategist, an experienced bid manager, a workshop facilitator, specialist tender writers, an evaluator-led review team or a combination of skills.
We may work under your bid director or pursuit lead. We may take responsibility for a particular workstream. We may coordinate the submission. Or we may remain deliberately independent so we can challenge the response from an evaluator’s perspective.
Our own processes and methodologies support how we work, but they do not need to replace yours.
The value we bring is the collective experience behind them.
