2023050 Drainage Construction: Forrest Ave and Bowden Grove Stormwater Drains

The procurement is for the construction of two separate stormwater drainage projects in the single procurement. Contractors can tender for either or both projects. If awarded to a single Contractor, the projects will be still be treated as Separable Portions with separate programs, pricing, completion, etc.

Forrest Ave / Way Place, Marino:

The work is the removal and replacement of approximately 26m of existing 375mm stormwater pipe, at a depth varying from 2.7 to 6.2m. The length of pipe is between two existing junction boxes. Safety is of paramount importance.

Council has purchased the pipe, available for collection from Marion's Southern Depot.

Bowden Grove / Parsons Street, Oaklands Park:

The work is for the construction of a buried 450mm stormwater pipe in a relatively narrow walkway with access only from either end. The works includes new buried stormwater infrastructure in Bowden and Parsons. Total pipe length approximately 165m.

Work includes demolition, kerbing, kerb ramps, side entry pits, junction boxes, concrete paver footpath.

Council has purchased the pipes, side entry pits, junction boxes and bends, available for collection from Marion's Southern Depot.
