The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified contractors to provide visitation data and insights to inform park management decisions and quantify the value of national parks.
This procurement is for a suitably qualified supplier to undertake a large-scale data supply research project that delivers to the ongoing measurement of Australian domestic visitation to NPWS reserves. This requires the collection of representative samples and extensive processing of visitor estimates including non-surveyed regions in Australia that account for little visitation to NPWS reserves. New methodologies and technologies are encouraged to improve quality of data outputs. Additionally, the contractor will demonstrate the capacity to correct the visitation estimates for biases such as telescoping and non-response.
